InstallWatch records modifications made to your PC during the installation of software, hardware, or configuration changes.
InstallRite (which includes all the features of InstallWatch) provides "application cloning" as opposed to "disk cloning", simplifying software distribution.

I used InstallRite to make my own installer from a known good fresh install to fix a broken Office 2000. "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000" kept popping up. I uninstalled Office 2000, registry entries under HKLM and HKCU, \program files\office. Installed my new package and overwrote all files. Office works correctly now.
